Hi Gavin,
First of all, thank you for the FUNtastic show! The grads and all the volunteers thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, some of those kids really got into it and it was fun to see what wonderful imaginations they have. My son was also in your act for the second time. He volunteered also at the dinner in February. He really enjoyed it as did his brothers who work and came in to watch the show.
The first time I saw your act was at my oldest son's grad in 2004. I recall seeing one of his friends dancing with a chair which was extremely funny knowing how out of character it was for him to be in front of so many others and doing that. Then again, I saw you in 2008 when my middle son graduated and you had him dress in a ballet skirt and dance around the floor as a ballerina. As this is my youngest to graduate - but will definitely give my highest recommendations to anyone who asks about you. I will browse your website from time to time to see what is new with you.

Rutland Senior Secondary had the privilege of having Gavin Hooper as our hypnotist for the evening of Dry Grad. I just want to say that Gavin Hooper was spectacular. He kept everyone entertained and had us laughing for a full hour and a half. If you need a great Hypnotist, ask for Gavin Hooper, you won't be disappointed. Thanks.

This was my first experience with hypnosis. I was astounded at the power of suggestion, and excited at what an incredible tool you have in hypnosis. There is so much good you can do with it - especially with the teenagers! Although you had fun with the teens, you were also letting them experience the side effects of bad choices, such as drinking to excess. I would imagine you could use this in anti-drug, anti-smoking programs,etc. I really liked the 5 "powerful suggestions" you granted them at the end of the evening - they were all strong and full of self-esteem sentiment. May you have success in all you want to achieve.

I have to admit, at first i was skeptic of the art of hypnotism, but you have proved me wrong! The show was an experience of a lifetime, of which I will never forget. I am still amazed as to the things we did. Kudos to you for showing us such a great time.

I just wanted to say again how much fun Gavin was for our dry grad. On a scale of 1-10 the kids all said that Gavin was a 10+. We had used Gavin in our past school dry grad and he was just as successful now as he was then. Thanks again Gavin... you were fabulous!!
We were very pleased and highly entertained by your performance at our Dry Grad Evening. It was a pleasure to look around our venue, at the 140 young adults and parents and see every one of them watching and waiting for whatever you were going to have the next student entertain us with. The response later from the students themselves was also very positive and they only wished you could have performed longer. Thank you for a very entertaining evening.

The show itself was hilarious and immensely entertaining. I appreciated that you let the kids who did not want to stay up on stage, even though they had initially chosen to be there, leave with dignity. I also noticed that you took great care of watching over all of them. You made sure not one of them fell over or hurt themselves in any way - and you had at least 50 up at one time. This did dwindle as time passed, but you still had around 20-25 at the end of the hour and a half. I have no idea how one person can control others in this fashion, but good laughter and entertainment was had by all. Even the volunteers were none the worse for it when they were brought out of their hypnotic state.

We absolutely thought you were the highlight of the evening... Thank you so much for putting on what I'd say was one of the best shows I've ever seen. The students have not stopped talking about it, my daughter was the one that wanted the "pony" after winning the lotto!!! she found it to be the most exciting life experience that she's ever had, she described how it felt to be hypnotized and how she remembered everything that went on, the things that impressed her and I the most is the fact that she did not wake up and feel embarrassed about anything that was said or done (great ethics I find most hypnotists base their shows on humiliation sometimes) and two; the message you gave to the students at the end was moving and powerful!! You should be very proud of your business and take pleasure in knowing that without a doubt, that was the most fun that the parents and students have had in a long time or maybe ever!!!
